H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Grants Audience to Agencies’ Executives to Present Donation for the Information Technology Foundation under the Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PSIT)

     14 December 2023 : At Meeting room, 1st floor, Royal Library Building, Srapathum Palace, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a Royal Audience to Prof. Dr. Pairash Thajchayapong, Member of the Executive Board and Secretary General of the Information Technology Foundation under the Initiative of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PSIT) and Executive of companies/agencies to present donation to support PSIT work in science and technology human resources development projects.

PSIT scope of work is in two main areas:

  1. Science and Technology, aims to develop personnel at all levels Including students, teachers, academicians, scientists and researchers to enhance their knowledge, capability and academic experience in science and technology through various activities such as study visit, training, research and post graduate study. Such knowledge and experience gained will be useful in developing the country.
  2. Information Technology, emphasizes on its application in education and development of the disadvantaged group, especially rural and under privileged students to improve their education and life quality.

     Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a royal audience to Executive of Companies/Agencies to present donation to support PSIT work in science and technology human resources development projects between February to September 2023 as follows:

  1. A Siam Cement General Manager Foundation (มูลนิธินายห้างโรงปูนผู้หนึ่ง), supports budget for the care of poor patients with craniofacial deformities at the Princess Sirindhorn IT Foundation Craniofacial Center, Chiang Mai University, which currently serves eight (8) upper northern provinces, for a period of 2 years (2023 – 2024). The donation this year is the support for the fiscal year 2023.
  2. Program Management Unit for Human Resources and Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B), supports 2023 budget for High-Energy Particle Physics and High-Energy Astrophysics Manpower Development through Collaboration with International Institutions Project.
  3. Jai Krating Foundation, supports the budget for 2021-2023 Digital and Science Project to study local Environment.
  4. T.C. Pharmaceutical Industries Company Limited, supports the budget to carry out the project to select representatives to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Federal Republic of Germany for five years (2022-2026). The donation this year is the support for the fiscal year 2023.
